Medieval Games Kiefersfelden

Concerning its medieval games the Kiefer are known for everywhere. Germany’s oldest village theatre was founded here in the year 1618. During the month of July and August the medieval games will be played on the baroque stage from 1833. They are written by Joseph Schmalz, the “farmer shakespeare” from Kiefersfelden in the 19th century.

Castle´s Gate
